No two companies are exactly alike - and with this in mind, Gassner Global offers customized services depending on the needs of its clients. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with our clients that provide both short term benefits and long term value. Initial no cost consultations are performed via telephone to determine what you, the client, require and whether Gassner Global is equipped to meet your needs.
If there is a match, we will usually then schedule a site visit to our client’s facilities to meet in person and better define the program that will meet the client’s needs. Gassner Global will prepare a detailed proposal of the services to be performed and associated costs to be reviewed by the client and fine tuned by the parties as needed. Once agreed upon the proposal will be formalized in a detailed, clearly written document so that all parties are aware of what is expected of them in order to achieve the objective.
The main service areas from which to choose are the following:
A. Market Research (MR)
This service can be as specific or broad as required. Whether it is determining the size and nature of the market for one specific product to one specific geographic market or your entire product offering to multiple markets, we will tailor our project to meet predetermined objectives.
B. Market Penetration Proposal (MPP)
Our proposal to achieve market penetration will provide detailed step by step suggestions of how to achieve both short term and maximum long term market share. We will analyze your product based on the particulars of the target market, and provide reasoned and fact based suggestions of how to sell to the target market. A sampling of just some of the issues to be addressed include whether and if so (1) how to achieve export sales in conjunction with your existing domestic distribution network, factory rep and marketing department, (2) establish a U.S. based distributor dedicated to export sales, (3) hire an international sales and marketing person, (4) use a firm or agent in the target market to promote sales. These and many other issues will be addressed to determine the most cost effective strategy to achieve market penetration and long term growth.
C. Trade Show Representation (TSR)
We will attend international trade shows that are geared to your product market on your behalf. We limit the number of manufacturers we represent at each show in order to maximize the return for each client and to ensure that we have strong product knowledge for the clients we are representing. We will have a display table or booth featuring your products, with your brochures & business cards available to the exhibit visitors. A detailed summary report of the trade show will be provided along with a detailed listing of all contacts obtained within 10 days after the show.
D. Joint Venture (JV)
A customized joint venture agreement can be created to meet a client’s specific objectives. In this scenario, Gassner Global takes a more active role in achieving our client’s international growth objectives. Common arrangements are for Gassner Global to actually locate and hire (with the client’s involvement and oversight) either international sales representatives, agents, or distributors and to assist in their on-going monitoring and management. For some manufacturers, producing products overseas is the most advantageous way to increase global sales. Gassner Global can be retained to assist and manage the process of establishing an offshore manufacturing facility as well as a distribution network.
