Jeffrey Gassner, founder and Managing Director of Gassner Global LLC, has a varied and multi-faceted background in the international business arena. He is currently Managing Director of Triangle Exports, Inc., a Miami based international distributor of building materials which he incorporated in 1996 and supplies building materials and logistical support for construction projects including schools, hotels, commercial and residential developments throughout the Caribbean.
Prior to starting Triangle Exports, Mr. Gassner, an attorney licensed with the Florida Bar since 1993, practiced in the area of international commercial law, acting as associate counsel for South Florida for Gruman Worldwide Limited, an international law firm based in Tampa, Florida. He focused on international commercial collections litigation as well as transactional and contractual matters.
Additional corporate experience includes 2 years as international sales manager with Traeger Brothers & Associates, a Miami based international distributor established in the 1920’s. Jeff began his international business career in 1988, when he became Director of International Marketing for Able Builders Equipment, Inc. of Miami, Florida, a manufacturer of scaffolding and concrete shoring equipment. He traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Central America meeting with government and business leaders in establishing a dealer network for the company’s products which is still functioning successfully to this day.
Mr. Gassner’s educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law (1993), a Master of International Management degree from Thunderbird (The Garvin School of International Management) (1988), and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia (1987). He also spent a year (1984) during undergraduate studies at La Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico where he obtained his fluency in Spanish.
Jeff continues to travel regularly throughout the Caribbean and is active in a number of trade organizations that promote international business.
Jeff resides in North Miami Beach, Florida with his wife and 6 children.
